Today, intercom system prices and technology are almost identical across all brands. With new technological R&D efforts, Bticino has made intercom systems a fundamental part of apartment and site automation. Video intercom systems, which have become indispensable applications in terms of home and building security systems, are no longer as expensive as they used to be. INTERCOM SYSTEM FEATURES If the intercom system is video-enabled, when a call is made from the door intercom panel to an apartment, the video phone screen opens, the caller is seen, and if desired, the handset can be lifted to answer. If the intercom system is not video-enabled, when the apartment phone rings, the handset is lifted to speak. - Apartments can speak with the doorman, if any. Apartments can open their doors and activate the stairwell light switch from inside the apartment. - The system can be with or without a doorman. Note: The branch connected to the doorman is different. - The system is suitable for single-door apartment buildings. - The interior and exterior doorbells are different. - The intercom system has private communication. - Stairwell light switch installation is a maximum of 4 zones. - In the video intercom system, it is possible to install an intercom phone instead of a video intercom in apartments that wish to use it. - Cabling is very simple and affordable. VIDEO SYSTEM CABLING For intercom system installation, instead of coaxial cable, 2 telephone wiring cables, 2 x 2x0.75 mm (Caution!) power cables, and a common 2 or 3-wire cable, and one doorbell cable for each apartment are used. Existing apartments may have DT8 and DT12 cables. However, it is important to note that the power cable must be thick. Therefore, it is beneficial to run the power cables separately as 2x0.75 mm (or thicken them by running them in parallel if available). Video splitter: - No video splitter is required for the first 20 video intercom systems (black and white or color intercom). - For each subsequent group of 20 videos, the newly released V-AMP-1 (single video amplifier) will be used.
